Ahmed Badr, Executive Director, RCREEE

Ahmed joined the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) in August 2015 and has more than 20 years of international experience of the renewable energy, water and infrastructure sectors, gained through senior operational positions in multinational institutions including the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Commission, and Japan Bank for International Co-operation.

He graduated as a civil engineer from Ain Shams University in 1990, has a PhD in Renewable Energy from Springfield University (Illinois, USA), plus master degrees in Civil Engineering (Springfield University) and Project Management in Innovation Economics (Universite de Nantes, France).

Ahmed Badr is a panellist at the fourth annual Africa Investment Exchange: Power & Renewables meeting, which will be held in London on 15-16 November.
