CbI’s African Energy has been involved at the heart of the debate surrounding the development of the energy sector in Africa and the Middle East for more than 25 years and works closely with the project development community on issues that affect public and private sector investment decisions.
To facilitate dialogue, all our meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule and structured round panel-led discussions and roundtables.
Our meetings have attracted sponsorship and support from Actis, Africa Finance Corporation, AIIM, BioTherm Energy, DEG, Denham Capital, DLA Piper, Endeavor Energy, Engie, FMO, Globeleq, InfraCo Africa, Joule Africa, Power Africa, the Business Concil for Africa and the US Chamber of Commerce.
CbI Meetings pairs CbI’s extensive regional expertise and source network with an events team boasting more than a decade of experience in producing high-level investment forums and dialogues across the African continent.
Our unique service includes full event management from detailed agenda planning and development through to both pre- and post-event press campaigns, briefing papers and event write-ups.
In October 2015, CbI Meetings organised the Morocco Energy Exchange in Edinburgh for the Moroccan embassy. In addition to full agenda support we used CbI’s network to prequalify a high-level invitation-only audience. We also provided a media pack including a briefing paper and press release.
