Cephas Galley, Director of Legal Services, Electricity Company of Ghana


A lawyer of over 20 years standing, Cephas has taken part in negotiating and structuring all the power-related transactions for Electricity Company of Ghana. A Notary Public and a member of the Ghana Bar Association, Cephas has worked in a renowned law firm whose areas of practice are corporate, investment, litigation and intellectual property law. He undertook research at the University of Ghana and taught briefly.

Cephas holds a first degree from the University of Ghana and Professional Law Certificate from Ghana School of Law. He also holds a PGD in international law & sustainable development from the Institute of Social Studies, The Netherlands and a Masters in energy law and policy from University of Dundee, UK.

Cephas is interested in the structuring of energy deals, corporate governance, investment and research.
