Lynn Tabernacki, Deputy Vice President of SME Financing and Head of Global Energy, Overseas Private Investment Corporation
Lynn has been with OPIC for over 22 Years. As Deputy Vice President of SME Finance and the Head of the Global Energy Group, she focuses on supporting small- and medium-sized American companies investing in emerging markets. She covers multiple sectors including healthcare, education, telecommunications, microfinance, impact investing, housing, and most importantly, renewable and clean energy.
Lynn founded and led OPIC’s global energy programme, supporting the development of utility scale renewable and clean energy infrastructure, off-grid energy solutions, energy efficiency projects, and natural gas investments. Between 2007 and 2016, Lynn oversaw the growth of OPIC’s clean energy portfolio to over $7.7bn in commitments.
Prior to her work with OPIC, Lynn worked at Price Waterhouse Poland, Citicorp, and Arthur Andersen. She holds an MBA in international finance, a BS in accounting and business administration and is a CPA and a credit trained professional.
