Andrew manages DeRisk Advisory Services, a specialist in African investment and political risk insurance that advises investors on MIGA, OPIC and other PRI providers to help projects and businesses attract and qualify for international bank finance and private equity investment. DeRisk has completed over 15 insurance transactions in Africa with MIGA, OPIC and other insurers. Prior to co-founding DeRisk in 2006, Andrew worked in insurance and management consulting at Credit Suisse and Accenture. Andrew is also a non-executive director of the Limalimo Lodge, a boutique eco-lodge in northern Ethiopia.
