Joseph Tato, Partner, DLA Piper

Tato.pngJoseph is the Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s Energy Sector and US Co-Chair of Projects and Infrastructure and a partner in the New York Office. He has represented independent power producers, equity investors, project sponsors, financial institutions and governments in the development and financing of power, oil and gas, LNG, water and wastewater, telecommunications, waste management and other infrastructure projects throughout Africa for more than 20 years. He also represents sponsors and financial institutions in the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of energy and power projects in Africa. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Mr. Tato was the chair of the Africa practice for another major international law firm. Chambers Global recognises Joseph for his Projects & Energy practice in Africa.
