Nick has over 10 years of private equity transaction experience. He is responsible for raising capital in the private markets for both private equity funds and direct investments, focusing on further developing Asante’s direct capital markets capability. Before joining Asante, Nick was Chief Investment Officer of the Lordship Group, an emerging market investor, controlling in excess of USD 1 billion of projects worldwide. From 2008-2013 Nick headed up the London office of Minerva Capital Advisors, a private equity investment and advisory business. Prior to Minerva, Nick was a key member of Allco Finance Group’s Structured Finance team, one of the world’s most successful shipping structured finance arrangers where Nick was responsible for the placement of vessel transactions in the European market in excess of USD 2 billion in value. Nick began his career with Bell Gully, New Zealand’s largest law firm, where he worked in the Corporate Team for three years specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions. Nick holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
