Currently the acting head of DFID Impact Fund, she is focused on leading investing in activities, through fund/other intermediated structures, to combine significant pro-poor impact with financial discipline for investors across various sectors (including access to energy). Previously she focused on the mapping & incubation of profitable, scalable investment models in post-conflict and transition economies for CDC Group as part of the research to their Frontier Investment strategy.
Prior to joining CDC, she was a principal at BlueCrest Capital LLP, as acting as the interim head for distressed gold mining assets in Australia and Colombia, where she managed the restructuring programs to turnaround and divest mining assets. Tracey has 15 years of investment banking/emerging markets experience ranging across energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.
