Abdellaziz El Gamah unveils Morocco’s ambitious gas plan at AIX: Gas

Abdellaziz-El-GamahAbdellaziz El Gamah, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Energy, Mining, Water & Environment, showcased Morocco’s plans for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal at the Africa Investment Exchange: Gas (AIX: Gas) meeting at RSA House, London on 28 May 2015. Mr El Gamah’s presentation also examined the substantial increase in gas-to-power envisaged in the kingdom, with a new generation of CCGT generation plants.

Morocco is seeking to establish an enduring dialogue with energy industry professionals, as it promotes a long-term, sustainable vision of energy development. The Moroccan Embassy is hosting a morning briefing in Edinburgh on 12 October 2015 which will focus on the kingdom’s emerging hydrocarbons industry and gas imports. Click here to view the agenda.
