Benon Mutambi, Chief Executive Officer, Electricity Regulatory Authority, Uganda

MutambiDr. Benon Mutambi holds a Ph.D in Economics and is the Chief Executive Officer of Electricity Regulatory Authority, Uganda. He has rich experience in the areas of monetary policy, growth economics, regional integration and energy regulation having worked for nine years in the central bank and nine years in an independent energy regulatory agency.
Benon has done a lot of research in the areas of energy pricing and design of feed-in-tariffs, debt sustainability, financial liberalisation, savings, investment and economic growth. He has been a facilitator and speaker at a number of international workshops and conferences.
