Oliver Andrews, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has confirmed his participation at the Africa Investment Exchange: Transport & Infrastructure at RSA House in London, 09 to 10 June 2016.
Oliver leads the deal origination, execution and management of the investment portfolio. He previously led the Corporation’s origination and coverage division, which executed over US$1 billion of high-impact developmental projects across Africa, financing high developmental impact projects such as; a West African fibre optic submarine cable, a wind farm in Cape Verde, a toll road in South Africa, a toll bridge in Ivory Coast, development capital raising for a natural resources company in Nigeria, a short term working capital facility for a metal and steel industrial conglomerate, acquisition financing for a major East African international airline, privatisation finance, expansion financing for East Africa’s second largest cement producer. Additionally, initiated and led the internal development and execution of the AFC/FMO Project Development Facility to increase the pipeline of bankable infrastructure projects across Africa, into the Corporations project pipeline.
