Tarik Hamane, Director of Power Generation Projects and Programme at l’Office National de l’Electricité et de l’Eau Potable (ONEE), Morocco and Kishan Pillay, Director: Up- and Midstream Oil & Gas, Industrial Development Division, Department of Trade & Industry, South Africa have recently confirmed their participation in the Structuring LNG to power projects session at the Africa Investment Exchange (AIX) Gas meeting, RSA House,  5-6 April 2017.

They join session chair, John Smelcer, Head of Oil & Gas Sector Group, Webber Wentzel and an expert panel – Steve Brann, Investment Manager, Vitol and Sandra Coetzee, Strategy, Risk and Combined Assurance, IPP Office – examining critical issues learnt from South Africa, Morocco and Asia’s LNG to power programmes.  Themes for discussion in this session are listed in the AIX: Gas agenda.

Sponsored by Actis and Globeleq, the meeting focuses on bringing upstream and LNG players together with government officials, power developers and investors for a frank discussion on project opportunities and investment issues affecting all stakeholders across the gas value chain. Held under the Chatham House Rule (by which participants can openly discuss issues but must not be quoted by name), AIX: Gas is structured round panel-led sessions and roundtable discussions to encourage an open exchange of views.
