Alan is Co-Managing Director of Azura Power, which is the exclusive platform company for thermal projects in Africa, for Actis Energy Fund 4 and Amaya Capital. The anchor investment for the company is the 450MW Azura Edo gas fired power plant in Nigeria. Alan has over 30 years’ experience in power industry and power corporate finance (over 20 of which have been in Africa). Prior to joining Azura Power, Alan spent 20 years Fieldstone, the specialist infrastructure advisory firm, where he was one of the controlling shareholders and chaired the African Executive committee.
