The Department for International Trade is supporting the Africa Investment Exchange: Nairobi power and renewables executive briefing at Fairmont the Norfolk Hotel and hosting the evening reception on 2 October 2018.
The UK Government is playing an increasing role in the power sector in Africa. With 32 Embassies or High Commissions across the continent, the UK Government is well placed to help British power companies expand their reach and revenue in Africa. We know the landscape and can provide market intelligence to help them manage risks and secure opportunities. Our network of DIT staff are well connected and will introduce firms to Government decision makers and trusted commercial advisors. Via PIDG and UK Export Finance, we can help firms find financing with grants, liquidity and insurance products, so they don’t need to take risks alone. Finally, we will build a long-term relationship with power firms to advocate, support and protect their investments.
