Rajesh has been a member of the business and project development team at AMEA Power since 2019 where he looks after a portfolio of 710 MW spanning solar PV, wind, geothermal and battery energy storage projects.

Prior to this, Rajesh worked at Access Power during the implementation of Uganda’s first 10MW utility-scale solar PV project alongside other successful transactions in Kazakhstan.

In 2023, Rajesh and his team at AMEA Power sealed a debt financing package for a 20MW solar PV project in Uganda, cemented partnerships for a 50MW wind project in Kenya, and were awarded a 300MW wind energy project in Ethiopia.

Rajesh holds an MSc Electrical Engineering from the University of Nottingham (UK) and, a BE Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Anna University (India). He is also a member of the IEEE Power & Energy Society.
