Pierre has over 22 years of operational and management experience of which over 15 years has been spent working in sub Saharan Africa, both East and West.
Pierre had a pivotal role in the success of the Songo Songo Gas Development and Power Generation Project in Tanzania and has managed successfully the development of the Orca Exploration upstream and downstream natural gas business through his successive roles as General Manager, Vice President Operations and subsequently Vice President Infrastructure for Orca Exploration Group Inc. More recently Pierre was the Director West Africa for African Petroleum, involved in Liberia, Sierra – Leone, The Gambia, Senegal and Ivory – Coast before moving recently as consultant, involved with a number of Oil and Gas Start – Ups and medium cap companies in Africa.
In his previous career, Pierre has covered several international management and operational roles with Single Buoy Mooring in Italy, PERENCO in the US, Gabon and Paris as well as TOTAL in Argentina.
He holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the Institut Polytechnique de Toulouse (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques) and a MSc of Management from the Aix – en – Provence Business School in France (Institut d’Administration des Entreprises).
