Kishan Pillay has a Masters of Commerce Degree in Economics, from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He serves on the Boards of the South African Oil & Gas Alliance (SAOGA) – which is a public private partnership that aims to promote the interests of firms operating within the Oil & Gas sector in South Africa-and IGAS-an affiliate of the Central Energy Fund Group of Companies. He chairs the Operation Phakisa Local Content work-stream and heads the dti led Gas Industrialisation Unit (GIU).
