Jectone’s working experience spans over 15 years, of which, seven years have been at senior management positions in the energy sector with a focus on engagement of Independent Power Producers, strategic management, project procurement, project management, structuring of IPP transactions and preparation of documents and IPP negotiations including structuring of credit enhancement tools.
He has experience and has been instrumental in raising and managing funding portfolios of energy development projects from multilateral and bilateral financial institutions such as KfW, AFD and African Development Bank (AfDB).
Prior to joining the energy sector, he also worked in the public sector under the Privatisation Commission of Kenya. His private sector experience includes working for the advisory arms of KPMG and Deloitte Consulting in the areas of corporate finance, strategy and public sector management.
Jectone is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK) and a member of the Institute Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He has a MBA Finance degree and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting) from the University of Nairobi. He is also currently pursuing a Master of Commerce (MCOM) in Development Finance from the University of Capetown (UCT), South Africa.
