Luciano has more than 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of hydroelectric schemes and hydraulic structures. He is currently involved in a number of dam and hydropower projects supported by the World Bank in the Africa, particularly in Cameroon, Niger, DR Congo, Burundi, Rwanda and Zambia.
Before joining the World Bank, he headed as project manager the feasibility studies, design works and construction supervision for several large dams and hydropower projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia and Eastern Europe.
Luciano graduated with a Master degree in hydraulic structures from the Technical University of Naples, Italy.
