Kevin is a power engineer with 30 years post-qualification experience. He is passionate about the development of privately financed infrastructure and has since November 2002 led IPS in the development of privately financed infrastructure totalling around $2bn. Kevin doubles as the power global lead for IPS’s parent, the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development.
Prior to IPS, Kevin was the chief power engineer and consumer affairs manager for Kenya’s Electricity Regulatory Board (the forerunner of the Energy Regulatory Commission). He also previously served as the Chairman of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
