Victor Tivane is a Mozambican local content and investment expert with more than 15 years’ experience in developing indigenous companies and Foreign Direct Investment promotion for the country.

At ENH his main role is to lead and co-ordinate company policy regarding indigenous companies’ involvement within the O&G sector and acceleration of skill and technology transfer.

Prior to joining ENH, Victor was a consultant at the World Bank Competitiveness and Private Sector Development Project for Mozambique (PACDE), where he acted as a specialist for matching grant schemes in order to enhance the competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Victor has worked at the Investment Promotion Centre, in the preparation and implementation of Industrial Parks in Mozambique and as advisor for foreign and domestic firms in matters of investment. He also acted as adviser during the implementation of the Mozal aluminium smelter.

Victor has a Bachelor in Business Management (1990), and an Honour’s Diploma, Geology from Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique (2015). He has published a book on developing bottled water enterprises and a handbook aimed at disseminating entrepreneurship in rural areas.

Victor is a panellist at the sixth annual Africa Investment Exchange: Gas meeting in 2020.
