Eric started his career in the energy industry in 1995 and has since held various positions within Total, both at Paris headquarters and regional offices, across a wide range of disciplines including upstream operations, engineering, strategy and business development.

Before joining the gas and power division, Eric was Managing Director of one of Total’s exploration and production affiliates in the Middle East. He graduated from French engineering school Centrale-Supelec and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree from the French Petroleum Institute (IFP School). Before joining Total, he was a visiting scientist in the Energy Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
