Richard is a member of IFC’s Africa Region infrastructure investment team. He has more than 12 years of experience in the infrastructure space, ranging from upstream PPP project development advisory work to downstream project investment transactions, across multiple jurisdictions in Africa. He is currently based in Nairobi, primarily covering the Eastern Africa region.

Before joining IFC in 2006, Richard spent eight years with KPMG working in areas ranging from privatisation transactions and PPP advisory to M&A transactions due diligence and financial audits.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance Major) from the University of Nairobi and is a CFA Charter Holder. He is also a qualified accountant.
