Harry leads a team of over 35 professionals promoting EBRD’s transition mandate in the electricity generation, renewable energy, transmission and distribution sectors.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in financing and investing in emerging markets and transition economies with a special emphasis on the energy sector. He has been involved in a wide range of power, oil and gas, infrastructure and PPP/PFI projects across Europe, North Africa and the former CIS and has also led high level policy engagements, with a particular focus on establishing the enabling environment for renewable energy.

Prior to his current position at EBRD, Harry was a senior banker in the power team, with particular responsibility for investments and policy dialogue in Egypt and Jordan. He has also worked in EBRD’s Office of the General Counsel and the institutional strategy department. Prior to joining EBRD in 2005, Harry was a senior associate in Allen & Overy’s project finance group and also worked for the European Union in UNMIK-Kosovo.
