Ogbemi  is responsible for a portfolio of investments spanning upstream oil and gas, energy infrastructure and distributed power generation.

Prior to Helios, he worked in the natural resources investment banking division of Goldman Sachs International, where he executed M&A, debt and equity transactions across the oil and gas, power, and mining sectors, with a particular focus on Africa.

Earlier in his career he held project management and strategy roles with ExxonMobil and Standard Chartered. He received an MBA from London Business School, where he was a Mo Ibrahim scholar, and holds a BEng degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria.
