Thomas is a Chartered Engineer with expertise in the analysis of generation, transmission and distribution projects, access expansion studies, tariff and system planning studies, economic and financial analysis, power market design and regulation studies for utilities, governments, private companies and regulators.

Thomas had a key role in the successful delivery of over 40 power consultancy assignments, covering over 30 countries on five continents, including over 15 countries in Africa.

In most recent years, Thomas has been working closely alongside developers of power projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, leading a wide range of projects, from screening, supply and demand and network adequacy assessments to full economic and financial analysis.
