Jean-Jacques is an expert in private equity and in advisory, specialized in the structuring and financing of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in Africa.

Before joining Finergreen, he spent several years with Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), one of the largest private equity fund dedicated to Africa, where he worked on the CIPREL IV project. He was also a Senior Consultant at E. Oppenheimer & Son, where he managed investment for a power plant in Senegal and conducted market research on infrastructure in French-speaking Africa.

Since 2016, he has managed Finergreen Africa’s advisory firm and assists local developers, governmental agents and investors in the financial modelling and fundraising (debt, equity, grant) of renewable energy projects, including on-grid PV solar power plants. He also provides project finance and financial modelling training for renewable energy.
