Andrew has over 15 years of experience in the delivery of regional Environment, Social, Health and Safety solutions. He is currently the ESG Manager for Kipeto Energy, a special purpose vehicle for the construction of a 100MW wind-farm in Kajiado in southern Kenya. Andrew was previously the Director of Environmental and Social Services at EBS Advisory Kenya. He has also worked as Site Manager for RXPE Engineering and Health Safety and Environment Manager for Southern Engineering Company at Lake Turkana Wind Power (LTWP), which is the largest private (non-government funded) project in Kenya. Andrew previously worked as a HSE and compliance officer for a variety of companies in Naivasha, Kenya. These included solar-powered projects for Stokman Rozen and the geothermal-powered Oserian Development Company, where he was part of establishing corporate EMS and OSHAS systems and associated certification.
As a RAMSAR Site, Lake Naivasha is an important biodiversity zone and all systems were designed to protect the wildlife and the ecosystems that supported them. Andrew has also undertaken EIAs, ESIAs and ESGDDs of various organisations across the construction, energy, agriculture, retail, real estate and industrial sectors and was involved in a 10-year Environmental Management Action Plan for administrative districts.
Andrew has also done Environment, Social and Environmental Management Systems (SEMS) training for management and boards of directors for major companies in Kenya.
