Angelous is an investments, strategy and finance professional, with over 15 years of experience, supporting SMEs across sub-Saharan Africa. As the Head of Finance Access Advisory, he coordinates the advisory work at GET.invest – a European Programme that provides on demand transaction advisory to green energy project and companies to access capital across by sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. GET.invest is the One Stop Shop of the Team Europe Africa EU Green Energy Initiative for Green Energy Investments. GET.invest provides flexible advisory services, supporting projects or companies to become investment ready and access financing that aligns with their needs.

Prior to joining GET.invest, Angelous worked at the AECF for more than 5 years, where he held various positions with the most recent being the Head of Investments and Advisory Services, where he led a team of advisors and consultants in providing technical assistance and transaction advisory to a portfolio of more than 500 businesses in the agribusiness and renewable energy sectors across sub-Saharan Africa. Before that, he spent 8 years in management consulting supporting the growth and expansion of SMEs and supporting the fundraising journey of SMEs from multiple sectors across sub-Saharan Africa.
