Dr. Charles Haworth is a seasoned energy industry veteran passionate about sustainability, technology, and science. As a business leader, Charles has led teams across a multiple-billion dollar portfolio. He holds a PhD in Laser Physics from Imperial College London and currently serves as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at CWP Global’s Green Hydrogen Division. His work is focused on decarbonising the global economy through ultra-large-scale renewable projects using hydrogen for P2X.

Charles has a wide range of international expatriate business experience working in the energy industry since 2006. This included roles in onshore wind, offshore wind, hybrid renewables, gas turbines, services, nuclear energy and reciprocating engines. His interests lie in the future of technology, the energy industry, and the electrification of transport.
