Chimuka has over 11 years’ experience in investments and banking. Prior to joining IDC, he was a corporate relationship manager at LuSE-listed ZANACO Bank, where he successfully closed deals in excess of €250m and $20m.

He has worked for Standard Chartered Bank as a financial analyst, Development Bank of Zambia as a credit analyst and African Life Financial Services as an investment analyst.

Chimuka has a degree in Accountancy and an MBA in Finance and Certification in Business Financial Analysis from Omega UK, an affiliate of Standard Chartered Bank.

Chimuka is a panellist at the fourth annual Africa Investment Exchange: Power & Renewables meeting, which will be held in London on 15-16 November 2017.
