Gilles, a project development and finance professional, prides himself on a decade of international experience focused on power and energy infrastructure in Africa. Throughout his career, Gilles has held management & leadership positions in infrastructure construction management, project finance, M&A, investment and asset management.

Today, at the service of the African energy sector, Gilles leads the development and financing of flexible power systems (IPP) throughout the continent, while executing market development strategies for Wärtsilä’s key African countries

Gilles holds an Engineering degree “Diplôme d’Ingénieur” from ICAM and an MSc in Energy Management from ESCP Business School, London.

When he is not crunching the numbers on a financial model, Gilles enjoys playing football and sharing his passion for reading through his association: Reading Classrooms, in Cameroon.
