Ifechukwude has more than 10 years’ experience specialising in both on-grid and off-grid renewable energy generation solutions and their development and integration into power sector planning in Africa. As the Assistant Director of GreenMax’s Transaction Advisory Group, he supervises the GreenMax West Africa team and provides financial and transaction advisory services in support of various clean energy projects across the region. These include transaction advisory services being provided by GreenMax to a 25 MW solar power project in Sierra Leone, a 20 MW embedded gas power project in Nigeria, and a broad portfolio of off-grid enterprises in Nigeria and across West Africa, including solar home system providers, mini-grid developers, commercial and industrial power solution providers, and agricultural productive use schemes.

Ifechukwude holds a M.Sc. in Process Systems Engineering (with distinction) from Cranfield University, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. He also holds the qualification of Certified Expert in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, a Certificate of Excellence in Power Sector Regulation from the Florence School of Regulation – Robert Schuman School of Advanced Studies, and a Certificate in Business and Financial Modelling from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.
