James is an infrastructure finance expert specialised in financing energy transition projects across sub-Saharan Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Caribbean, as a consultant for project developers, development banks and financial institutions.

On top of developing energy transition projects, James has helped a number of development banks design climate-related funds. He is on the expert panel for GET.Invest Finance Catalyst, – a European programme supported by the European Union, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Austria, where he has provided technical assistance to early-stage developers in the e-mobility sector raise venture, corporate and project finance.

James holds an MSc in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from University College London.
