Jef brings over 20 years of experience in the credit insurance business working in Asia, the Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe. He is currently a Senior Advisor at African Trade Insurance (ATI), where he implements the Regional Liquidity Support Facility (RLSF), a joint project of ATI and KfW, the German Development Bank.

RLSF wants to help renewable energy IPPs by guaranteeing the liquidity they need to continue to operate for six months in case the offtaker does not pay.

Jef was previously Chief Underwriting Officer of ATI for more than five years. He also worked among others at Credendo group (Integration Manager) and Euler Hermes (CEO Asia)

Jef is a panellist at the fourth annual Africa Investment Exchange: Power & Renewables meeting, which will be held in London on 15-16 November 2017.
