Jimi provides consultancy and transaction advisory services on policy, legal, regulatory and financial matters to clients in East and Southern Africa. Current and former clients include Kenya’s Geothermal Development Company, the Tanzania Geothermal Development Company, UK’s DFID, World Bank and the African Development Bank. His work focuses on project development, project management, public private partnerships, project finance, off-grid electrification and climate finance.
Jimi is an attorney admitted to the New York bar with legal expertise spanning renewable energy policy, Feed-in-Tariff setting, commercial transactions, foreign direct investment, intellectual property, upstream energy, and international financial litigation.
Jimi attained a BA in Philosophy and BS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, and JD from Fordham University School of Law.
