John has nearly 30 years of global experience in project management, banking and advisory in infrastructure, renewable energy. Prior to joining AMDA as COO, John was the founder of Stimaken SAS, a developer in solar and wind energy, before joining the US based infrastructure private equity firm Everstrong Capital as a Director to set up their office and operations in Nairobi, Kenya. He then served as Executive Director at Crowe Infrastructure Africa in charge of the firm’s private sector practice (Africa) where he led financial structuring and negotiations with debt and equity partners for major infrastructure projects in Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, and Uganda – in the road and highway, railway, water, and renewable energy sectors.

John has also served as a board member of Vestbound Private Equity Fund (MVest Group) in South Africa and an Advisory Consultant with Technolink Consults in Uganda.
