Joyce settled in East Africa in 2009, and has worked in the renewable energy sector in multiple countries across Africa.  She worked for an international NGO –  leading improved cook stove, biogas, and picoPV programmes – and at a social energy enterprise, where she was accountable for creative micro energy sales and marketing programs, developing distributor partnerships, and successfully scaling the business. Her experience and philosophy focuses on collaboration with private companies, investors, NGOs, and public sector organisations to create sustainable business models that provide the most impact for developing communities.
