Jules is a distinguished senior executive with over 22 years of expertise in investment banking, commercial banking, and guarantees. Currently, Jules serves as Managing Director for the Hardest-to-Reach debt fund sponsored by Acument. The fund focuses on providing debt facilities to companies operating Solar home systems. The fund also supports mini grid projects in the hardest-to-reach countries, with the aim of facilitating access to energy for those who are in need.

Previously, Jules Served as the co-CEO of an innovative electric two-wheeler company in Africa. Under his leadership, the company has achieved significant milestones, with approximately 11,000 bikes on the road and expanding its presence across five countries. Before joining Spiro, Jules held the position of Managing Director of Africa at Guarantco, a guarantee institution dedicated to infrastructure and local capital market development.

Jules began his career at a microfinance institution in Cameroon. In 2004, he joined Ecobank Cameroon, contributing to the development of its corporate banking activities. His extensive experience encompasses working closely with international financial institutions, government bodies, and capital market regulators.

Jules holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Yaoundé, Cameroon, and an MBA from Cass Business School, City University of London.
