Born as Prince Kudra Kalema Kimbugwe of Buganda, Uganda, Kudra is an engineer and entrepreneur who creates and invests in socially impactful opportunities in global emerging markets.

He is the Managing Partner and founder of CP-EM, and CP-EM Uganda, which is currently developing a 1GW solar programme for Uganda aimed at driving local economic stimulation, job creation and technology transfer.

Kudra’s deep understanding of Ugandan culture and the societies of Eastern and Southern Africa, together with his expertise in social-entrepreneurship, conservation and blockchain technologies, are key assets to CP-EM’s high impact, high return strategy.

Kudra is driven by the strong belief that the deployment of advanced engineering paired with community empowerment will play a pivotal role in the development of Africa.
