Lars is a market and regulatory expert for microgrids and energy storage solutions globally. Trained as a political scientist he holds multiple degrees from universities in Germany and the Netherlands. Before joining Aggreko, Lars worked in communications for the European Parliament and a German communication think-tank. In 2014, he started working for Younicos, which was acquired by Aggreko in 2017. At Younicos/Aggreko Lars worked in different positions in communication, regulatory affairs and market intelligence.

In his current role, Lars is responsible for strategic marketing and regulatory affairs. This includes monitoring and influencing market and regulatory developments in the energy sector globally and translating them into opportunities for Aggreko’s customers, taking advantage of Aggreko’s unique energy-as-a-service model for microgrids and energy storage.
