Marcus is the founder of Abuja and London-based Pan Africa Solar (PAS), a business which is focused on providing both on-grid and off-grid solar power solutions for commercial, industrial and household customers through three business verticals. Marcus and his team have been successful in obtaining debt financing to grow and develop their off-grid businesses.
PAS BBOXX started operations in early 2017 and provides electricity to off-grid households and micro-businesses for a monthly service fee through the installation of a 50W solar home system. The business currently operates in five states in northern Nigeria and will be rolling out nationally in 2019.
Pan Africa Hybrid (PAH) offers solar power solutions to commercial and industrial customers. PAH offers customers electricity through a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) paying for the electricity they use on a per kWh basis. The business started in 2018 and is expecting to announce the signing of its first PPAs in early 2019.
Marcus is a panellist at the fifth Africa Investment Exchange: Power & Renewables meeting, which will be held in London on 14-15 November 2018.
