Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the power sector in the USA, Asia and Africa, with a particular focus on power development projects in Tanzania.

His energy sector experience has involved developing power projects in China and advising on complex LNG projects around the world. While working for AES Corporation, Mark was involved in the successful completion of the Songas project in Tanzania.

Over the past nine years, he worked for Aldwych International as a project director (based mainly in Tanzania) focused on developing the 100MW Singida wind project and the 358MW Ruhudji hydro project.

At Globeleq, Mark is Head of Business Development for Tanzania and works closely with the Songas team and local stakeholders to develop power projects in the country.
