Monya is a Senior Investment Officer in the energy debt team at responsAbility Investments, an asset manager focused on investments in emerging markets.

The energy debt funds managed by responsAbility directly finance Renewable Energy (Project Finance and Commercial and Industrial) and Energy Access Companies in developing and emerging countries.

Monya has 10 years’ experience in the power and infrastructure sector. Her expertise is focused on renewable energy in emerging markets, and she has experience in varying roles including project finance, credit risk, business development and EPC sales.

Monya holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance Honors) from the University of Cape Town, and a Masters in Finance from the University of London.
