Naomi has 13 years’ experience managing energy projects with KenGen. She has a solid understanding of the Kenyan energy sector business environment having developed projects worth over $500m from various generation modes including hydro, geothermal, thermal and the development of the first wind power plant in Kenya. These projects have doubled the national energy capacity over the last 10 years.
She is currently responsible for driving new business initiatives for power generation improvement for KenGen, including identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships with private investors for new energy products and services.
Naomi is a member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya and the Engineers Board of Kenya. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and Master’s in project planning and management.
