Pierre-Louis is COO at Sirona Technologies, a Direct Air Capture (DAC) company. DAC is a technology to remove CO2 from the air. It is a proven carbon removal technology, that has been listed by the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) as a cornerstone for reaching global Net Zero in 2050. Sirona Technologies pioneers its operating model with a focus on speed, scalability, and a low capex design. As COO, Pierre-Louis heads Business Development, Finance and Operations. Pierre-Louis also focuses on building Sirona Technologies’ carbon capture plant in Kenya by 2026.
Prior to working for Sirona Technologies, Pierre-Louis worked for family offices, VC fund and in strategy consulting. While at BCG, he worked on projects in Africa: community relations for a mine and for a national oil & gas company. While working for family offices, he restructured an energy company, set up sustainability investment strategies, and coordinated investment projects with DFIs. He also co-founded and managed a VC fund focused on regenerative agriculture.
Pierre-Louis holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master in Business Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
