Pierre has 25 years of operational and management experience of which over 15 years has been spent working in sub Saharan Africa, both East and West.
Pierre was instrumental to the success of the Songo Songo gas development and power generation project in Tanzania and successfully managed the development of the Orca Exploration upstream and downstream natural gas business through successive roles as General Manager, Vice President Operations and subsequently Vice President Infrastructure.
Subsequently, he took the role of Director West Africa for African Petroleum Corp. between 2012 and 2017 where he managed 10 production sharing contracts and government relationships in 5 countries (Senegal, The Gambia, Liberia, Sierra – Leone and Ivory Coast). More recently Pierre was Director Africa for OneLNG (a Joint Venture between Schlumberger and Golar created to develop stranded gas assets via FLNG technology) between 2017 and 2018.
Earlier in his career, Pierre held international management and operational roles with Single Buoy Moorings in Italy, Perenco in the US, Gabon and Paris, and Total in Argentina.
He holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the Institut Polytechnique de Toulouse (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques) and a MSc of Management from the Aix-en-Provence Business School in France (Institut d’Administration des Entreprises).
