Rim heads the investment team at Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, in charge of the emerging markets energy transition topics (ex. SunFunder) and holds a 15 years’ experience in leading transactions in emerging markets. Currently focusing on deploying the Mirova Gigaton strategy, circa $300m vehicle providing medium and long term debt to renewable energy companies and projects in emerging markets, across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

She joined SunFunder in 2018 to lead transactions in West Africa, covering both off-grid solar and other productive use, microgrid and commercial & industrial solar opportunities in the region and beyond. She joined from responsAbility Investments where she worked for more than four years completing sustainable agriculture investments in Africa and Asia. Before that she started her career at BNP Paribas in the structured finance department. Rim was born in Morocco, speaks 5 languages and holds a Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris.
