Roland is an energy and infrastructure investor and executive with 25 years’ experience. His previous roles include: Managing Director of Mubadala Infrastructure Partners; Founding Member of the listed private equity infrastructure fund, PMEA Infrastructure Opportunities; and Adviser to I-Squared Capital. He established and led the $3bn renewable energy transition strategy for a listed mining house, and founded African Frontier Capital, a private equity adviser and manager.

He previously worked in the oil & gas sector, leading some of the most consequential emerging market deepwater discoveries of the 2000s.
