Simen serves as the team lead for Integrated Energy Systems in Multiconsult. This technical team oversees the company’s projects involving complex configurations of consumption, production and storage of energy, enabling sustainable development and efficient solutions in the green energy transition. Simen is an expert in power system analysis, with experience from energy system optimization in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. His specialty is related to utilization of local energy resources to achieve stable electricity supply with minimal grid infrastructure investments.

Simen holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen).
